This quilt was created by four ladies. Gale Leonard who designed and pieced the top. Althea Colhorn made made some of the blocks. Chris White, quilted it and Ruthy Goode, embroidered the blocks. She used some of the free liberty designs. I am sorry to say that Althea ( Gale's grandmother ) has passed away. Beautiful work ladies. Thanks for sharing with all of us.

stunning quilt was created by Margaret, who won the contest I had. These were the designs
she received for her prize. As you can see she put them to excellent use. She sewed out the designs in black and then painted them. I am sorry the whole quilt picture does not show up as well as I would like, so I added one of a close up of two of the designs. Thank you Margaret, for sharing with us. |
